To Book your Ceremony
Are you on holiday from another country and wish to get married in Australia?
Before you can marry the law in Australia requires that you lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM ) you can download a copy here or complete the form when you come to see me. These forms may also be obtained from the Australian Embassy or Consulate.
Under Australian law I am required to sight the original birth certificate passports and all relevant documents. You will need to bring these documents with you on your first consultation when you arrive in Australia. If you are an overseas resident applying to marry an Australian citizen, you may qualify for an Australian Fiancee Visa. The laws can change rapidly so for the latest information it is best to get in contact with the Australian Embassy or Consulate or you can contact the Australian Immigration Department.
After I receive these documents, I will then contact you confirming all details and we can then start planning your wedding ceremony. Once you arrive in Australia, we can then finalise last minute documents and final wedding arrangements.
